About Wein A Ramallah

“Wein a Ramallah”
Wein a Ramallah is more than an annual celebrative ritual of the city and deeper than a summer tradition.
Wein a Ramallah is an occasion to engage in discourse about Ramallah through workshops and seminars, and through the artists’ dialogue about our city and its future. Wein a Ramallah is an occasion to meet outside traditional venues, in the city’s open horizons and spaces. Wein a Ramallah is the suggestion we propose to visit wider audiences and provoke deeper interests.
Wein a Ramallah is a new and comprehensive model of partnership between the city’s organizations and people.
“Wein a’ Ramallah ” and its activities fall in four main categories: In the Courtyard, Ramallah’s Skylights, Ramallah and Cultural Development, and visual art exhibitions in public Spaces.

In the Courtyard:
The geographic center of the city lies between Rashed Al-Hadadeen Square and the Ramallah Municipality. In the Courtyard, our program joins all the city’s residents regardless of their political, religious or social affiliations.
Right in that space, bands will meet and perform for all ages and tastes, right from the heart of Palestine.

Ramallah’s Skylights:
Our activities would come to you wherever you are…on your way home, in public parks, at work, in the Old City and in the heart of the beautiful city of Ramallah.
Our activities, ranging from artistic to cultural, include workshops and art exhibitions in public spaces, music, dance performances in addition to events programmed especially for children. This program manifests a conscious and dedicated choice to open up the city’s spaces to the largest number of the city’s residents and visitors.
